I used to run a business years ago called NooB Auto Parts known for stripping classic Japanese vehicles, mostly Toyota’s, and supplying good second hand parts to the car communities around the world that needed them. Wheelin and dealin old crusty rare parts was my jam but I always wanted it to be more then just vehicle dismantling, alas never quite got there…

My dream at the time was to get into manufacturing new parts for classic Toyota’s. Much needed parts. I was hesitant to invest time and money into something so risky all those years ago so I kept holding off. Then along came covid and ruined all our lives. The price of classic cars shot up dramatically while the price of parts stayed stagnant. Shipping prices increased and the carriers became even more fussy about shipping car parts. I had a lot of trouble convincing shipping companies to accept gearboxes and diffs even if fully drained, cleaned, and bolted down to pallets. All this on top of personal life stuff, it just got too hard and NooB Auto Parts was no more… Big sadge.
I never truly stopped selling stuff, just dialled it right back and ceased trading under the business name.

Fast forward to end of 2023, I have a new found courage and confidence investing in this idea of making stuff. I purchased an injection moulding machine to start manufacturing, with full intentions of making a come back. I worked with Tomas Frier Designs (great guy btw, very talented in 3D design) to develop moulds and get the ball rolling. Sadly 2024 ended up being a disaster nightmare year for me and I had to sell the machine after only using it a handful of times 🙁
